Cutaway Rum from Lost Loch Spirits wins global blind tasting award

The latest spirit from Lost Loch Distillery in Aberdeenshire to win an award is their Cutaway Rum, a spiced rum with notes of pineapple, vanilla and chocolate.
The Rum and Cachaca Masters 2024 is a blind tasting competition run by The Spirits Business with 260 entries from 94 countries across the globe, at which the most prestigious award is a Masters Medal. Cutaway Rum was a Masters winner this year, adding to the Masters Medal for their eeNoo gin, and two gold awards for Haroosh, a whisky, honey and bramble liqueur, and Scotland’s first absinthe, Murmichan.
Pete Dignan, one of the co-owners and head distiller at Lost Loch said, “ We are immensely proud of this achievement, as it underpins our commitment to excellent quality and great spirits.”
