Old Course Hotel Opens New Rooftop Bar and Dining Ahead of the Summer

Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa is unveiling its newest dining venue, the West Deck, just in time to greet the warm summer weather on the coast. Set atop the hotel, the al fresco destination for drinks and light dining sets the stage for long summer nights and casual get-togethers under the stars.

With a variety of cosy seating areas set under a canopy of twinkling lights, The West Deck offers the ultimate vantage point to watch spectacular sunsets or observe golfers from above as they take to the course. Plush glass pods extend the space’s versatility and allow groups to enjoy a unique private space no matter the weather.

The rooftop revamp marks the eith dining offering within the resort’s portfolio. The opening of the West Deck is part of a larger series of food and beverage enhancements underway at Old Course Hotel, which most recently announced the reopening of the Jigger Inn following massive refurbishment.

The all-day menu features a selection of nibbles and sharing plates with local ingredients, including oysters and Great Glen charcuterie, a fresh crab salad, and a brown butter lobster roll to complete the summer atmosphere. Diners can also enjoy desserts like a strawberry and vanilla pavlova, or a selection of ice cream to cool off while enjoying the sun.

A menu of signature cocktails designed for rooftop sipping includes the ‘Par Four’ with chartreuse, strawberry liqueur and vanilla, and the ‘Bartender’s Bluff’ featuring Flor De Cana 18-year rum, lime, and kiwi. A selection of wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
