Showcasing Scotland Regional

Showcasing Scotland Regional aims to boost sales of Scottish produce at a more local level in every region of the country, and to meet consumer demand for quality, locally produced Scottish products.

About Showcasing Scotland Regional

Scotland’s larder is bursting with quality and provenance. We are becoming a nation famous for its food and drink and it has never been more important to build a strong local and regional offering.

We’re encouraging people to think more carefully about the origin of their food and drink. We want businesses to commit to sourcing more from local suppliers and telling the story behind them. This is crucial if we are to meet our aspirations of selling more on our own doorstep and becoming a globally renowned food tourism destination.

Showcasing Scotland Regional events will help boost local and regional sourcing. Using our hugely successful Showcasing Scotland business matchmaking mode, the regional events will bring together regional buyers, producers and suppliers to meet, build relationships and secure future business.

So if you’re producing some of our fantastic food and drink or committed to sourcing more of it, join us at a Showcasing Scotland Regional event.

Event Format

Each regional showcase will feature a mix of pre-arranged, one-to-one meetings and a networking lunch showcasing an array of local produce. We have two Showcasing Scotland Regional events upcoming:

Showcasing Scotland North East – 4 February 2020 at Thainstone Mart, Inverurie
Showcasing Scotland West – 5 March 2020 at SEC, Glasgow
