We are a cheesemaking business based just outside Comrie in Perthshire. We make 3 cheeses from locally sourced cow’s milk. We use local product to flavour some of our cheeses (Glenturret Whisky and wild garlic).
Strathearn cheese is a 250g square cheese made with pasteurised cow’s milk and vegetarian rennet. The cheese is washed in a Glenturret single malt whisky brine every 2 days for 4 weeks. Strong flavour, pungent.
The Lady Mary is a soft creamy cheese. Young and fresh, the cheeses are matured for 10 days, then dressed with locally foraged wild garlic and a spray of Summer Harvest truffle oil.
The Wee Comrie is a mild and mellow cheese with a natural rind. Matured for 21 days, it has a buttery taste and supple texture.
All our cheeses are made by ourselves, with pasteurised cow’s milk and vegetarian rennet.
