Thomsons Foodservice is a family owned ltd company which has been in the food business since 1987. Thomsons deliver throughout the whole of Dumfries and Galloway, including the far flung corners, as well as South Ayrshire, the Borders and South Lanarkshire. We strive to provide as much local and Scottish produce wherever possible.
In our 15000 sq. ft, premises situated in Dumfries Enterprise Park we store over 1000 products covering frozen, chilled and ambient lines as well as some non-food products such as cleaning, hygiene and disposables. In 2014 we joined Fairway Foodservice buying group which allows us the buying power of a large National business. This means better pricing for customers whilst still providing a quality local service.
Our frozen products include a wide range of seafood, quality chicken products, frozen fruit & vegetables, a selection of bread products, desserts, cakes & ice cream plus much more!
Our chilled products cover everything from milk, cheese, quality Scottish and British fresh meat, locally made yoghurts, local eggs, local pates and cooked meats.
We have a large range of ambient grocery products which include flour, pasta, rice, baking sundries (including dried nuts, baking powder, quality cooking chocolate & sugar) tray bakes, gravy & stock powders, tinned goods (such as baked beans, tuna and chopped tomatoes) tea/coffee, dried herbs & spices, cooking oils & vinegars, condiments, ready-made cooking sauces & confectionary (Including branded crisps, a wide range of drinks and snacks)
Our non-food lines cover many essential items such as bin bags, scouring pads, dishcloths, cling film, foil & parchment, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, cleaning products (such as bleach, hand soap, laundry powder & washing up liquid) along with disposables such as vinyl gloves, freezer bags, biodegradable food containers and takeaway cups.
