Class action claims are a reality and are only growing in number. The risks to food producers and suppliers come in many forms, whether it be employees, consumers or even shareholders. In this session, CMS Scotland will explore some of those risks and how they may be mitigated.

Will Anderson
Will Anderson is a Partner in CMS's UK Dispute Resolution Group advising clients on a wide range of English law commercial disputes. His work often involves bringing and defending claims for breach of contract, shareholder disputes, post M&A warranty disputes, franchise disputes, IT disputes and cybercrime as well as general commercial litigation often involving allegations of fraud and/or misrepresentation. He regularly provides advice to clients on contractual interpretation and tactical advice regarding on-going contractual relationships.
Charlotte Edgar
Charlotte Edgar is an Associate within the Dispute Resolution team at CMS, specialising in Commercial Litigation. She acts for a wide range of clients, including those in the financial services, energy, and higher education sectors. Charlotte advises on commercial contracts disputes, procurement litigation, company disputes and directors’ duties, insolvency and cyber breach matters. Her work also includes some personal injury and product liability cases.
Graeme MacLeod
Graeme MacLeod is a partner in our Disputes Team in CMS Edinburgh. He specialises in commercial litigation and professional negligence claims, and advises corporates, public bodies, banks and insurers about a variety of disputes across both fields.
