SALSA has announced the launch of new issues of all four Standards. The new issues are available to view and download now, and from 1 September 2026, all audits will be conducted against these new Standard issues.
These updates keep SALSA aligned with current best practices and regulatory expectations, and ensure that retailers, wholesalers, and foodservice companies who recognise SALSA certification can continue to rely on a standard that is current and rigorous.
To help producers start preparing for the changes, SALSA is running four Standard webinars in June, providing a detailed picture of how each Standard has changed.
