Brownings the Bakers Expands Asda Range with Three New Pie Lines Across Ayrshire

Family run bakery Brownings the Bakers has announced a major expansion of its partnership with Asda, with three new savoury lines launching into over 50 stores across Scotland.

From today, customers will be able to pick up the Big Kilmarnock Pie, Belter Bridie, and Steak & Haggis Pie in-store, building on the continued success of the bakery’s iconic Kilmarnock Pie, which is already stocked by Asda.

The new additions bring more of Brownings’ best-selling savoury range to supermarket shelves, offering shoppers greater choice while staying true to the bakery’s reputation for quality and traditional recipes.

Speaking about the launch, Managing Director, Declan McMahon said, “We’re delighted to see our relationship with Asda continue to grow as we introduce more of the Brownings range into stores throughout Scotland. The Kilmarnock Pie has always been a firm favourite with shoppers, so it’s fantastic to now give customers access to even more of the products we’re proud to make. From the Big Kilmarnock Pie to the Belter Bridie and Steak & Haggis Pie, these are lines that have proven hugely popular with our customers, and we’re pleased that even more people will now be able to get their hands on them as part of their weekly shop.”

Founded in Kilmarnock in 1945 and now in its fourth generation, Brownings the Bakers has become synonymous with Scottish baking, combining time-honoured methods with modern production to serve both retail and foodservice customers across the country.

The new range will be available in selected Asda stores from Monday 4th May.
