Sephra Europe Ltd, headquartered at Denburn Road, Kirkcaldy, is celebrating having won two major awards in the Fife Business Awards 2026, the awards scheme organised and run by Fife Chamber of Commerce.

Comprising the premium food equipment, ingredients, and confectionery brand, Sephra, together with the food, equipment and ingredients distribution division, cfw.co.uk, the business has picked up the prestigious Business of the Year Award, whilst also winning the Best Marketing & Engagement Category.

Aimed at the business community across Fife, the award scheme aims to highlight and celebrate the outstanding achievements, innovation, and dedication of businesses and individuals across Fife. Bringing together businesses of all sizes, from sole traders and large established enterprises, to game changing entrepreneurs entering the market for the first time, it’s an opportunity to share inspiration, and highlight the businesses that help drive the region’s economy and communities forward.

The glittering Awards Nights, which brought together over two hundred attendees, including business leaders, entrepreneurs, sponsors and community representatives, for an evening of recognition and celebration across 12 award categories, was held at The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews on Friday 5th June, with Arlene Stuart of Forth One & BBC Landward fame, as its compere.

Commenting on the Fife Business Awards, David Archer, the Managing Director and owner of Sephra, said: “To win both categories we entered is fantastic and a hugely proud moment. I’m extremely thankful to my amazing team. We really couldn't be more pleased, and had a hugely enjoyable night at the awards ceremony.”

David went on to say that Sephra was confident that it submitted a really significant entry into Business of the Year, having had a strong business performance last year.

“We doubled the size of our business in two years, in an extremely challenging marketplace,” he said. “And regarding the Marketing & Engagement category, we decided to enter this category, as we felt we had really excelled with a clearly targeted multi channel marketing and communication strategy. This has played a large part in our growth.”

From nothing, Sephra’ s TikTok account now has 10,900 followers, with 18,000 followers on Instagram for CFW, Sephra’s distribution division.

“We have a very talented in-house team who have worked extremely hard to achieve these figures,” said David.

“We are delighted that the judges agreed that we deserved recognition in these two categories.”

David pointed out that Sephra had begun modestly, as a home business in Kirkcaldy, with himself at the helm.

“We have now grown into an international brand, employing thirty five people in the UK, and four in the USA, distributing products to both B2C and B2B customers in over seventy countries worldwide,” he said.

“As Fife is where our story started, and where we are still based, it’s really good to be recognised on our home patch. We have always found being members of the Chamber to be a very useful and collaborative experience.”

Speaking following the event, Stephen Percy-Robb, Fife Chamber of Commerce, Chief Executive said:

“The Fife Business Awards celebrate the innovation, resilience and ambition of our local business community. The quality and diversity of this year’s finalists truly reflect the strength and breadth of talent across Fife, recognising not only commercial success but the vital contribution businesses make to our economy and our communities.”

“The awards showcased the diversity and dynamism of Fife’s business community, with finalists representing a range of sectors – from owner run businesses, to global brands based in Fife. In addition to celebrating success, the evening demonstrated the strong sense of collaboration and community spirit within the region’s business network,” added Stephen.
