Set in the stunning Scottish Highlands on the shore of Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan House Hotel is set to undergo an extensive refurbishment and re-open in Spring 2024 under the management of luxury hospitality experts Inverlochy Castle Management International (ICMI).
The investment will breathe new life into the 18th Century building, including renovating the property’s fourteen bedrooms with a new bar and restaurant concept. ICMI is also creating a rural space for lochside food stalls displaying local produce, a perfect stop for tourists and travellers during Highland road trips, with breathtaking views of the famous monument to Prince Charles Edward Stuart.
Jane MacFarlane, owner of Glenfinnan House Hotel, said: “I am thrilled to partner with ICMI and enable the continuation of Glenfinnan House Hotel’s 50 + years’ journey of celebrating highland hospitality. Thanks to ICMI expertise we will bring Glenfinnan House into a new chapter where we are open all year round, and we look forward to welcoming people from around the world while remaining a go-to place for the local community.”
Norbert Lieder, Managing Director of ICMI, said: “We are delighted to add Glenfinnan House Hotel to our family. The MacFarlane Glasow’s vision, combined with our passion for high standards and excellent customer service, will be a fantastic combination. We can’t wait for the partnership to develop.”
Glenfinnan House Hotel will open on 1st May 2024, just in time for the busy summer season. For more information, visit www.glenfinnanhouse.com/
