Jackton Distillery will host a new two-day wine fair this July, with exclusive access to what is believed to be the first documented commercial UK import of Normandy-grown wine for public bottle-and-case sale.

Jackton Wine Fêtes 2026 by RAER Alliance will take place at Jackton Distillery on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, bringing together wine tastings, food, live music and a relaxed family-friendly outdoor atmosphere for a full summer weekend in South Lanarkshire. General admission is free, while a £5 Tasting Ticket includes five sample tokens and fêtes glass hire.

At the centre of the event is the arrival of Normandy-grown still wines from Domaine des Déserts, giving guests the chance to discover a style of wine rarely seen in the UK. While Normandy is best known for cider and Calvados, these are classic red and white table wines grown in the region’s Calvados area. With import documentation in place and confirmation from Domaine des Déserts that RAER is its first UK importer and public retail partner, the arrival is believed to mark the first documented commercial UK imports of Normandy-grown wine for public bottle-and-case sale.

Attendees will be able to explore the wider RAER Alliance wine range through the tasting stations, while the Normandy wines themselves will be available separately by bottle or case across the weekend. The event will also feature food from catering partners, music from local performers, and outdoor activities for younger visitors, helping create a relaxed day out for couples, groups and families alike. Wines from the RAER Alliance range will also be available by the glass, bottle and case, with selected case offers running during the event.

Peter East, Directeur de la RAER Alliance, said:

“Jackton Wine Fêtes is about creating a brilliant summer atmosphere around great wine, food and music, but the Normandy wines give this weekend something genuinely special. Very few people in the UK will have come across wines grown in Normandy, let alone had the chance to buy them. To be able to bring them to Jackton, and share them as part of a wider wine fair, feels like a real moment for RAER Alliance.”

He added: “We want this event to feel open, warm and easy to enjoy. You can come for the tastings, settle in for a glass or bottle at the bar, enjoy great food, listen to live music, and make a full day of it with friends or family. It’s a wine event at heart, but with a lovely summer fête feel around it.”

The fair runs from 11am to 11pm on both days, with tasting stations open until 5pm and last entry for tasting ticket holders at 4pm. Walk-ins will be welcome, though advance booking is recommended for tastings. Under 18s are welcome when accompanied by an adult, and well-behaved dogs on leads can attend too.
