Sephra Europe Ltd Receives Two Finalist Listings in Fife Business Awards
Kirkcaldy based professional dessert sector business is recognised in Business of the Year, and Marketing & Engagement categories.
Sephra Europe Ltd, headquartered at Denburn Road, Kirkcaldy, is celebrating having achieved two finalist listings in the Fife Business Awards 2026, the awards scheme organised and run by Fife Chamber of Commerce.
Comprising the premium food equipment, ingredients, and confectionery brand, Sephra, together with the food, equipment and ingredients distribution division, cfw.co.uk, the business is a finalist in the Business of the Year category, with an additional finalist listing achieved in the Best Marketing & Engagement Category.
Aimed at the business community across Fife, the award scheme aims to highlight and celebrate the outstanding achievements, innovation, and dedication of businesses and individuals across Fife. Bringing together businesses of all sizes, from sole traders and large established enterprises, to game changing entrepreneurs entering the market for the first time, it’s an opportunity to share inspiration, and highlight the businesses that help drive the region’s economy and communities forward.
Commenting on the Fife Business Awards, David Archer, the Managing Director and owner of Sephra, said: “On the back of an extremely strong business performance last year, in which we doubled the size of a mature business in two years, in an extremely challenging marketplace, we are beyond pleased to have been named as finalists in two categories in the Fife Business Awards. From our humble beginnings as a home business in Kirkcaldy, Sephra has grown into an international brand, employing thirty five people in the UK, and four in the USA, with group turnover in 2025 exceeding £20m, distributing products to both B2C and B2B customers in over seventy countries.”
“We are very proud to still be based in Fife, and as such, wished to support, and get involved in, the Fife Business Awards, which is a fantastic showcase for businesses of all sizes in the Kingdom,” continued David. “We have always found being members of Fife Chamber of Commerce to be a very worthwhile experience, and are thrilled that we have taken this important step of putting ourselves in the spotlight through these awards.”
David outlined that Sephra had recently completed a new warehouse at its Kirkcaldy facility, some 50% larger in size than the company’s previous warehouse.
“It brings our pallet storage capacity from 650 to over 1000, a significant expansion which will allow Sephra to continue introducing new products, increase storage and packing capacity, and improve operational efficiency as we target new markets,” he said. “We’ve also increased our workforce by eight people in 2025, with a further three team members starting with us in the first quarter of 2026.”
Referencing the Best Marketing & Engagement Category in the Fife Business Awards, David said: “We decided to enter this category, as our clearly targeted, multi channel, marketing & communications strategy has played a large part in our sustainable growth. Combining paid and organic activity across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, search platforms, and online marketplaces, its focus is on content that is engaging, practical, and directly relevant to our customers’ businesses. From nothing, we have grown the Sephra TikTok account to 10,900 followers, while the CFW Instagram account now has over 18,000 followers. Our content has achieved exceptional reach, including one video generating 30 million views and several others exceeding one million views.”
David finished by saying that he, and his team, were very much looking forward to the awards night on 5th June at The Old Course Hotel in St Andrews:
“We can’t wait to engage with other Fife businesses and share our top tips for success and perseverance at this time. Obviously, we’d love to win either category, but if we don’t, we will still have had a fantastic night building new and valuable connections.”
