Vera Artisan Bakery & Kitchen in Stirling has once again secured the prestigious Artisan Bakery of the Year award for a fourth time by The Food Awards Scotland 2026 organised by Oceanic. The latest recognition marks another major achievement for the bakery, which has built a strong reputation for its 100% sourdough bread, handcrafted cakes, pastries and savoury dishes*, alongside its welcoming café experience.

Since opening in 2020, Vera has continued to develop its range and introduce seasonal products while remaining true to its artisan approach. The award is a particular achievement for the team, who have maintained high standards despite the challenges facing the hospitality and food-production industries, while the bakery’s reputation has grown well beyond Stirling through local and national media coverage, and features in internationally recognised travel guides including Lonely Planet and Le Guide du Routard.
