Delivered in partnership between The Knowledge Bank and The Academy, From Insight to Impact – Unlocking Routes to Market for Food and Drink Brands is an exciting new full day event for producers and suppliers working across the sector, which will empower food and drink businesses with the insights, tools, and connections needed to thrive in 2026 and beyond. 

Covering the Grocery Retail (multiple retailers), Convenience (group retailers and symbol or facia groups), and Foodservice/Out-of-Home (both contract and event catering, and travel and leisure) key industry channels, From Insight to Impact will provide exclusive insight, practical knowledge and strategic direction to help businesses navigate a fast-changing marketplace shaped by shifting consumer and diner behaviours, economic pressures, and fragmented routes to market.   

Whether scaling up or refining your strategy, high-impact sessions covering everything from how shopping and dining habits are changing to commercial strategies, and retail and foodservice buyer insights, will give you actionable knowledge to grow and succeed.

As well as the opportunity to network and build connections with other industry professionals, the agenda will include a range of opportunities to learn, network and explore the market. 

Presentations: 

The UK Food and Drink Landscape – delivered by Graham MacLean, Commercial Manager at IGD, this informative session will provide valuable insights on the UK grocery retail and foodservice industry and market, as well as how shopping and dining habits and behaviours are changing. 

A Perspective on Scotland – delivered by Lesley Ann Gray, Strategic Insight Director at Worldpanel by Numerator, and Rhona Lawson, UK Insights Manager at The Knowledge Bank. 

2x Panel Discussions – Graham MacLean will be joined by experts from Worldpanel by Numerator, The Knowledge Bank, Tesco, CJ Lang, and Sodexo to explore a range of topics, with the opportunity for attendees to submit questions.
