Dumfries Chef Wins Prestigious Internship at The Ritz London
Launched to mark Scotland’s first hosting of the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony for Great Britain & Ireland, Legacy Scholarship winner Fraser Cameron will spend five days learning under Executive Chef John Williams MBE.
Dumfries’ own Fraser Cameron of The Globe Inn has been named the winner of the Scotland Food & Drink and HIT Scotland Legacy Scholarship Award, securing the opportunity of a lifetime to spend five days at The Ritz London with Executive Chef John Williams MBE and his award-winning team.
Launched to mark Scotland’s first hosting of the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony for Great Britain & Ireland, the Legacy Scholarship was created to support a rising Scottish chef to take their skills to the next level.
The judging panel highlighted Fraser’s enthusiasm, ambition, and dedication to Scotland’s larder as key factors in his success. The experience at The Ritz London will provide a unique chance to learn in one of the world’s most renowned kitchens, building on Fraser’s impressive foundations and providing inspiration for his future career.
