World renowned Scottish, heritage salmon farm creates signature smoked and double smoked salmon.
Loch Duart, the premium Scottish salmon of choice for top chefs, restaurants, and foodies around the world, has launched its very own smoked salmon. Crafted by Scottish master smokers who understand the superior qualities of Loch Duart, this exceptional product is made using just two natural ingredients – their award-winning Scottish salmon and pure sea salt and is available in two varieties - ‘Signature Smoke’ and ‘Double Smoked’.
All Loch Duart Salmon, including the two new smoked products, are high in Omega-3 fats (EPA and DHA), providing greater health benefits than many smoked salmon products available.
The Signature Smoke is traditionally cured and smoked over oak shavings providing a subtle smokiness that pairs perfectly with the rich, savoury taste of the salmon for a more delicate flavour. The Double Smoked Salmon is smoked over oak and then whisky cask shavings creating a robust, full-bodied smoky flavour.
