What started as a joke between a couple of friends earlier this year has now become a monthly meet up group for macaroni cheese lovers across Renfrewshire.
What started as a joke between a couple of friends earlier this year has now become a monthly meet up group for macaroni cheese lovers across Renfrewshire!
Rachael Smith, founder of the 'Renfrewshire Macaroni Cheese Club' decided to create the macaroni appreciation group after chatting to a few friends who all share a love of macaroni cheese.
The group which can be found on Facebook meet up every month at various restaurants, cafes and pubs across Renfrewshire to eat macaroni cheese and discuss it during and after the meal.

Rachael said: I had no idea how popular macaroni cheese was and our events fill up very quickly every month. We've been very lucky that we've not had a bad macaroni cheese yet. As well as bringing people together over their love of macaroni cheese, it also helps to promote local businesses and the local area. We always take lots of photos, leave reviews and share our experience on social media. We now have places reaching out to us to ask if they can host a meet-up there'.
