Held on Thursday, 30 April 2026 at Perth Concert Hall, Showcasing Scotland Regional will bring together buyers and suppliers from across the country to grow sales of local food and drink products.
Scotland Food & Drink has today, Tuesday, 13 January, launched applications for its latest high-impact trade event, Showcasing Scotland Regional, which will bring together buyers and suppliers from across the country to grow sales of local food and drink products.
Held on Thursday, 30 April 2026 at Perth Concert Hall, the one-day event will see hundreds of business-to-business meetings take place between a curated mix of quality suppliers and influential buyers from across the retail, wholesale, hospitality, and independent sectors.
Utilising a fast-paced ‘speed-dating’ format, the event aims to opens doors to unparalleled commercial opportunities for producers from all regions of Scotland, while an open marketplace will further showcase the provenance, quality and real growth potential of Scottish produce to local food and drink buyers.
With Scotland’s food and drink sector now worth a record £19 billion, Showcasing Scotland Regional aims to unlock further growth at home – and with new research from The Knowledge Bank finding that nearly eight in 10 Scottish shoppers actively look for or prefer groceries made in Scotland, there’s proven demand and interest for local produce.
From retailers and wholesalers to chefs and farm shop owners, a range of buyers will be in attendance, connecting key decision-makers with a diverse group of high-quality, SALSA and BRC-accredited Scottish brands.
Showcasing Scotland Regional – formerly known as Sourcing Scotland – is the latest format in the Showcasing Scotland family of trade events, which have successfully fostered growth in sales of Scottish food and drink domestically and across international markets over the past decade.
Fiona Richmond, Head of Regional Food at Scotland Food & Drink, said: “From whisky and beer to beef, salmon, bakery products and confectionery, Scotland has a reputation for producing some of the highest quality, provenance-led produce in the world – and with Showcasing Scotland Regional, we want to increase sales of local products right here at home.
“The Knowledge Bank’s latest research shows there is growing demand for more Scottish produce to be available on shop shelves and within hospitality settings – in fact, 84% of Scots would like to buy more food and drink produced in Scotland when grocery shopping.
“As Scotland’s premier trade opportunity, Showcasing Scotland Regional will showcase the very best our dedicated producers have to offer, connecting buyers from a range of sectors with new, interesting and innovative products.”
