Scotland Food & Drink Net Zero Commitment launches jargon-busting handbook
To equip Scotland’s food and drink businesses with the tools to reduce their emissions in line with the national 2045 target, the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership’s Net Zero Commitment has launched a handbook to make sense of the technical language and jargon around sustainability.
This week (6-12 July) is Net Zero week, the UK’s official awareness week in our joint mission to reach Net Zero. To equip Scotland’s food and drink businesses with the tools to reduce their emissions in line with the national 2045 target, the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership’s Net Zero Commitment has launched a handbook to make sense of the technical language and jargon around sustainability.
The Navigating Net Zero handbook, which is available to download for free (below) demystifies all the key Net Zero terms. From cutting through the jargon to practical advice, it is designed to equip businesses with what they need to join us and your industry peers in hitting our climate change targets.
The race to Net Zero is on, and Scotland's food and drink industry is lacing up for the long run. As the voice driving this vital commitment to reach Net Zero emissions by 2045, the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership’s Net Zero Commitment Programme is here to support food and drink businesses of all sizes every step of the way.
Reaching Net Zero emissions is crucial for limiting global temperature rise and mitigating the worst impacts of climate change. It is also an economic imperative for Scottish businesses to remain competitive both domestically and globally.
