Scottish lifestyle businesses trading across agriculture, equine, outdoors, food, drink and arts and crafts who would like to be part of Scotland’s largest outdoor event, the Royal Highland Show, can apply to be a 2025 exhibitor from today (21 November).

Taking place from 19th to 22nd June at Ingliston, Edinburgh, the Show sees over 200,000 visitors, exhibitors and competitors attend across the four-day event, transforming the Royal Highland Centre into the sixth largest population in Scotland, bigger than Paisley and Dunfermline, and contributes almost forty million pounds to Edinburgh’s economy each year*.

Organisers of the Royal Highland Show, RHASS (the Royal Highland & Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) saw both the Friday and Saturday of the 2024 Show sold out, with general tickets sales up 2.5% from the previous year. Children 15 and under can attend the Show for free and in 2024 over 21,311 children attended over the four days.

Over 800 exhibitors are expected to exhibit at the Royal Highland Show 2025 which promises an extraordinary experience for all attendees, featuring everything from delicious local cuisine and handmade crafts, to luxury clothing lines and top of the line agriculture machinery.

David Tennant, Head of Royal Highland Show, said: “The Royal Highland Show provides a unique opportunity for lifestyle brands trading across agriculture, equine, food, drink, arts, crafts and more to not only access a pool of potential new customers and future brand ambassadors, but to make meaningful connections across the sectors they work in and with other like-minded businesses. The feedback we receive from exhibitors is that the four-day event can sometimes be one of their busiest trading moments of the year or be the catalyst for a boost in post-event trading.

“In addition to the event providing an unrivalled platform to gather customer data capture and face to face feedback on products, each year we also host a ‘meet the buyer’ event within our Lifestyle exhibition area which provides businesses the chance to meet prospective buyers.

“We already have a number of previous exhibitors signed-up to be part of next year’s Show and we would love to widen the pool of brands that showcase creativity and craftsmanship at their best through our doors.”

Previous exhibitors already signed-up for the 2025 Show, include: Auldton Stove, Schoolyard Kitchen, Scottish Crookmakers, Scottish Honeyberry Growers and luxury

While tradition remains at the heart of the Royal Highland Show, the event is far from conventional. Sitting alongside the traditional aspects including livestock competitions and parades – around 6,000 animals flock to the showground over the four days - visitors can take in farriery competitions, BMX riders showing off their flips and tricks and see axe throwers, live chainsaw carving, and pole climbers in action.

Businesses interested in applying for an exhibitor stand can do so by visiting the official Royal Highland Show website: www.royalhighlandshow.org.
