Sephra Excited to Embrace Spring Trade Show Season
With ICA & IFEX attendance already under its belt, the professional foodservice brand has its sights on The Farm Shop & Deli Show at Birmingham NEC
Having experienced 77% growth in the UK market over the past two years, professional foodservice brand, Sephra, is continuing to target new trade customers and build its brand through attending a series of key UK trade shows.
With its own range of innovative dessert, bakery and chocolatier sector products, including chocolate taps, chocolate fountains, donut and waffle makers, Sephra will attend the shows in association with its distribution division, CFW.co.uk, part of Sephra Europe Ltd.
Offering all types of consumable products, including its signature chocolate ranges, bakery mixes, sauces, and an assortment of confectionery including marshmallows, fudge, and honeycomb, CFW.co.uk is a one stop shop in the industry, distributing over 1,200 products.
Working with leading names such as Dawn Foods, Lotus, Nutella, Vanova, Krampouz, Gold Medal & Cadbury, CFW.co.uk additionally offers packaging solutions that ensure customer creations are showcased in their full glory, with a custom printing option available.
“Spring Trade Show season is always a very busy and exciting time, a personal favourite of mine,” said Callum Bond, Sales and Business Development Manager, at Sephra. “I particularly enjoy demonstrating our professional machinery, engaging directly with potential customers, and answering their questions.”
“We are here to inspire them, but also to help them find products that are the right fit for their businesses.”
At the two shows recently attended, Birmingham’s NEC recent Ice Cream & Artisan Food Show, (ICA,) the only trade event catering for both Ice Cream & Artisan food markets in the UK, and IFEX, Northern Ireland’s premier food, drink, retail and hospitality trade event, Callum explained that he and his colleagues had spoken to hundreds of customers, some of whom already shop with Sephra and CFW.co.uk, and some who were engaging with the brands for the first time.
“A common theme was cafes, dessert parlour owners and ice cream shops wanting to expand their menu and offer their customer something different,” said Callum. “We had a great deal of interest in our Sephra Plus Waffle Makers, particularly the Rotational Long Waffle which produces delicious long waffles on a stick which the customer can eat on the go.”
“Overall, our variety of equipment really appealed to visitors, with a lot of interest in our chocolate tap, our range of chocolate melters, hot chocolate machines, as well as our various sauce dispensing solutions,” continued Callum.
“Being able to implement an entire solution from one conversation is a real key advantage we can offer these businesses, and something that's really well received. This is a big part of why we see so much value at trade shows, giving us the platform in front of customer to demonstrate entire solutions and show off their simplicity," he said.
The next trip on the agenda for Sephra and CFW.co.uk is to the NEC in Birmingham, as the Spring Trade Show season continues apace with The Farm Shop & Deli Show. Taking place 13-15 April, this show runs alongside the UK Food & Drink Expo.
Sephra will join over 1,200 innovative exhibitors from the worlds of grocery, specialist retail, wholesale, foodservice and hospitality.
Callum Bond finished by saying: “Once again, we will attend this show with what we believe to be an impressive catalogue of time and money saving, high quality, products and innovations for all levels of hospitality professionals involved in the dessert and bakery trade.”
“These prestigious Trade Shows provide a massive kickstart to our sales and marketing in the Spring of each year. They will help us to build on our growth in the UK market.”
