Seeding Growth is aimed at businesses at the beginning of their growth journey. Fundamentally, it’s about learning how to sell yourself, build your brand and compete. Our personalised approach means you will be matched to an industry expert best suited to your needs. They’ll work with you to develop a clear action plan for you to focus on with the tools and templates required to develop your business plan and identify areas that need focus.

The deadline for applications for cohort one is Sunday 7 March, however we will be receiving applications continuously for future cohorts.

Who is this programme for?

Seeding Growth is geared towards early-stage businesses, or those towards the start of their growth journey, to help build the essential skills for success to grow beyond local markets.

What knowledge and skills will I gain from the programme?

Seeding Growth will begin with an overview of the importance of business planning and support to assess what stage your business plans are at. It will then guide you through marketplace and channel dynamics and how to generate meaningful insights to understand market data and key market trends and challenges so that you can more effectively manage and build customer relationships.

You’ll then go on to look at innovation and product development, as well as the opportunities that can come from improved supply chain and technical management. Learnings will be brought to life through best practice and success stories, giving you a deeper understanding of how theory applies in the business environment. 

Finally, the value of marketing and building your brand, effective selling by understanding your customer motivations and the negotiating process will mean you finish the course confident in managing your business for growth and building customer relationships, driving sales and seeking opportunities beyond your local market.

Throughout the programme, you will have one-to-one support from an industry expert, matched to your needs. They will guide you through a project that helps you apply your learnings to identify growth opportunities.

How will the programme be delivered?

Seeding Growth will harness the power of collaborative group learning. All modules will be delivered in a live, virtual environment designed to be interactive and engaging for all participants. You will also benefit from remote one-to-one support throughout the duration of the programme.
