Following Glasgow Chamber of Commerce's recent trade mission to Shanghai in November and attendance at the 6th China International Import Expo, their Chinese partner and representative, Xiang Li, will be visiting Glasgow at the end of January.
As a result, they will be hosting a roundtable discussion in the Chamber on the 29 January from 10am-11:30am which will focus on upcoming business opportunities in China throughout 2024. Xiang will provide an update of the work that has taken place following the visit in November and will share how Scottish businesses from across different sectors can get involved in this Scotland-China project. If you are interested in exporting products / services or would like to begin expanding your business into China then this is an excellent opportunity to learn more.
If you are interested in reading more about the recent trade visit to Shanghai, please see links below to two articles:
The first article has been written by student interns in Shanghai who were supporting our Scottish group of businesses.
The second article is a piece in the Herald providing an overview of the trip.
