Inverness Chamber of Commerce is inviting applications from Scottish businesses to participate in their next Virtual Trade Mission to Canada between 26th and 29th February 2024.
An inclusive, well-connected and stable business landscape makes Ontario an attractive environment for Scottish companies to do business. With cities such as Toronto, Brampton and Waterloo, Ontario has experienced major growth in sectors including finance, science, technology, innovation and food and drink and has a lot to offer Scottish businesses. Innovation is key for Ontario which makes it an attractive place to test new ideas and makes it a place that can drive real economic growth for the next generation.

About the Mission:
- The mission will take place virtually over 4 days
- Delegates will receive an information pack prior to the mission taking place, outlining the agenda and suggested market research
- Attendees will take part in a range of virtual workshops to learn about doing business in Ontario (including market awareness sessions, tax and legal workshops and case study presentations)
- There will be a networking event to facilitate further connections between Scotland and Ontario
- Each company will receive a minimum of two 1:1 B2B meetings with potential partners in Ontario based on your goals and ambitions
Criteria
- Open to any company in Scotland looking to grow their international trade activity in Ontario
- This is a cross-sector trade mission
- Companies do not need to be a member of a Chamber of Commerce
- Fee of £150 + VAT to participate in this mission (this fee is non-refundable should a company cancel after we start working to secure B2B connections)
