Scottish Organic Action Plan 2026 - 2029

Scottish Organic Action Plan 2026 - 2029

Scotland's Organic Opportunity

Scotland is globally recognised for its natural resources, rich heritage, and exceptional food and drink. At the heart of this success is a growing organic food and farming sector, supported by long-standing Scottish Government commitment and six consecutive years of growth in organically managed land.

Rising demand at home and abroad makes this the ideal moment to launch the Scottish Organic Action Plan 2026 - 2029. Developed through a collaborative, industry-led approach and supported by the Scottish Government, the plan sets clear priorities to scale up production, meet demand, and support a profitable, sustainable future for organic food and farming in Scotland - strengthening our global reputation while contributing to net zero and biodiversity goals.
