Highland Chocolatier Wins Award of Visitor Excellence

Master Chocolatier Iain Burnett and his team at The Highland Chocolatier have this week received the Award of Excellence for the second year running.  The award was presented by CIE Tours – one of the largest carriers of US visitors to the UK.  The Awards celebrate UK hoteliers and tourist experience operators who have been singled out by the 12,000 visitors visiting the UK with CIE Tours in 2024.  The awards are based on customer feedback from hundreds of tourism providers, with the Guided Chocolate Tasting experience at the Highland Chocolatier receiving an extraordinary 94% average from guests rating their most unforgettable experiences in the UK.
 
“We were really excited to launch the Guided Chocolate Tasting Flights a few years ago, to share insights into the creation of gourmet chocolates, their flavours and textures” said Iain Burnett.  “The awards are a wonderful reminder to my team that their drive to deliver not just an insightful and fun epicurean adventure, but a genuine experience on such a personal level to every guest individually, is indeed what people really value.”

Visitors to The Highland Chocolatier are welcomed to a 4 star tourist attraction with a wide range of things to enjoy – guided Chocolate Tastings, a small multi-media Chocolate Exhibition, the Chocolate and Gift shops and a decadent Chocolate Lounge which is also home to Europe's Best Hot Chocolate!

The guided Chocolate Tastings can be enjoyed onsite or even at home – either guided personally by a Chocolate Master or audio-guided – and offer a unique chance to learn about the world of an artisan chocolatier and, most importantly, to taste Iain's award-winning chocolates in an immersive way.
